SURF - CERTIFICATION

In September we had a good reason to celebrate since EDIA and all EDIA subsidiaries got SURF- certified!

Privacy and security has always been a top priority for us and has become even more so with the new EU General Data Protection Regulation that will become effective in May 2018. Our customers can now reassure themselves of this very easily because EDIA and all EDIA subsidiaries officially comply with the SURF Legal Standards Framework for (Cloud) Services.

This ISO 27001 based framework describes standards with regard to confidentiality, privacy, property and availability when concluding contracts with (cloud) suppliers. It includes standard provisions and processing agreement that offer educational institutions a solid basis for contracts with cloud suppliers.
