Slimme Nieuwslezer onderdeel ‘Leren van de Toekomst’
Het project 'Leren van de Toekomst' is een initiatief van het SurfNet/Kennisnet innovatieprogramma. Binnen dit project wordt er gewerkt aan vernieuwing in het basisonderwijs. Een van deze verniewingen is de Slimme Nieuwslezer van Edia. In het voorjaar van 2010 worden een aantal innovaties drie weken lang binnen twee basisscholen gebruikt, ter vervanging van boeken en werkschriften. In de aanloopperiode worden de docenten voorbereid en worden er pilots gedaan met verschillende innovaties. Edia gaat in gesprek met de docenten om te kijken hoe de Slimme Nieuwslezer optimaal geschikt gemaakt kan worden voor het basisonderwijs.

Digital Dutch Language Portfolio
Edia is currently developing a Digitaal Dutch Language Portfolio for CINOP. Coming September CINOP will setup a pilot for this environment. Early 2011, the product will be taken into production.
Sakai Commercial Affiliate Program
Recently, Edia became a member of the Sakai Foundation Commercial Affiliate Program. By joining this program Edia is supporting the Foundation's work, the development of Sakai, and to directly contribute to Open Source technological innovations for higher education.
