Jaeques Koeman

Jaeques Koeman has a background in Social Science Informatics and is business developer and project manager at Edia. He has extensive experience with educational innovation projects in Dutch higher education, operating from the University of Amsterdam where he has worked as project manager of ICT in education for five years. He likes trendwatching, internet sociology and internet policy. Specific technological areas of interest include interoperability of learning content and model-based reasoning.

Maarten van Hoof

Maarten van Hoof combined humanities and information technology during his academic career. He obtained his degree in Social Science Informatics at the University of Amsterdam. He has a long track record as a software engineer in commercial organisations, specializing in JAVA appications. Maarten works for Edia as software engineer and head of finance.

Rintse van der Werf

Rintse van der Werf received his masters in Social Science Informatics at the University of Amsterdam and is Edia's head of research and development. As a result of his PhD work at Tilburg University he is specialised in adaptive software applications, student modeling and the use of the world wide web as a learning resource, primarily in the context of language learning.

Roland Groen

Roland Groen has background in Informatics and Psychology, specialising in pedagogical applications of artificial intelligence. Since the mid-nineties, he has been active as JAVA-developer and as a team leader in software development within the financial market. At Edia, Roland is the lead developer.
